stele restituisce un decreto della boule ateniese per ripubblicare la stele di proxenia per i cinque figli di un certo Apemantos, di nome Amyntor, Eurypilos, Argheios, Lokros e
Alkimos: la stele su cui originariamente fu registrato quest'onore, infatti, era stata distrutta sotto l’oligarchia dei Trenta (404/3 a.C.). La procedura di ripubblicazione del decreto fu evidentemente richiesta da Eurypilos: a lui, infatti, la boulé attribuisce le spese di iscrizione, e rivolge un invito al Prytaneion per l’indomani. Come emerge da altre testimonianze epigrafiche, non si trattò di un provvedimento isolato: la distruzione dei decreti onorari da parte dei Trenta, concentrata in particolare sulle stele di proxenia, rappresentò per loro un atto simbolico di abolitio memoriae rispetto al passato potere navale di Atene. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
